Matthew Zedler || Gallery Owner || Curator || Modern Painter || Artist

Coming from a European background (German || Swiss || French), I consider myself extremely fortunate to have come into this world surrounded by people with immense passions (and as well careers) surrounding the fine arts.

My personal artistic interests and decades of art studies, are moreover based on the modern art movements between the late 1800’s and the 1960’s. The “Bauhaus” and “Modern and Metaphysical Art” theories of the 1920’s are of great interest to me. This is why the vast majority of artwork you will preview within “NewZart Gallery” pertains to these art forms.

As you peruse through the artwork today, also keep in mind that this site is but a snapshot of the over 3,000 paintings and sketches that have been offered to the public since the late 1990’s.

As a modern art lover, you will also notice then too the immense range of Modern to Contemporary Fine Art styles shown in both style and execution.
